In March 2022, FWT invested £1 million into dRISK, an autonomous vehicle testing and training company.
Founded in 2014, dRISK is using its unique approach to train AVs based on the high-risk edge case scenarios. Using and developing its patented AI system, dRISK are improving the safety of driverless cars of the future. Edge cases can be detected 6x sooner with 2x greater accuracy than industry standard systems.
dRISK will use the funding to accelerate their business plan and introduce the software to the AV industry. This is a key step towards autonomous vehicles becoming a reality.
