Melissa is a senior engineer at WAE, in Advanced Battery Technologies, leading the development of WAE’s next-generation BMS algorithms.
Whilst at the company, Melissa has been extensively involved in battery / cell testing, modelling, and simulation for programmes including Extreme E, Formula E, and LMDh, just to name just a few projects. She holds degrees in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, and Motorsport Engineering.
In Melissa’s words:
“I love the variety of the work we do here and although I’ve only been with the company for two and a half years, I’ve been given increased levels of responsibility, together with the authority and freedom to deliver my projects. I always feel I have a say in what we’re doing and feel privileged to be part of a collaborative and supportive team.”
