VividQ is a software company using its unique IP to bring computer generated holography (CGH) to life. CGH is the process of engineering light to create three-dimensional projections from a variety of 3D data sources, such as game engines, CAD or depth-sensing cameras. VividQ uses its software to commute holograms in real time in low power devices and integrate them with off the shelf display hardware.
FWT invested £2.1 million to help VividQ develop its display software. This will help the company to commercialise its software, driving the next generation of digital displays.
