WAE has been shortlisted to win Consultancy of the Year in the 2016 British Engineering Excellence Awards.
The company has been nominated as a finalist by the judging panel because of its impressive growth over the past 12 months, and the successful delivery of a number of high profile projects such as the batteries that power the cars in Formula E, the build of stunt variants of the Jaguar C-X75 hypercar for the latest Bond film SPECTRE, and the creation with Aston Martin of a new fully electric prototype of their RapidE platform. WAE has seen its revenues double in the past year, with over 40 projects that are seeing Formula One bred technologies and know-how introduced into a growing range of sectors such as automotive, motorsport, energy, defence, and healthcare.
Launched in 2009, the British Engineering Excellence Awards demonstrate the breadth of the UK’s engineering and innovation capabilities, celebrating excellence in all sectors and industries.
The award winners will be announced on 6th October at the Honourable Artillery Club in London.
