WAE prides itself on putting sustainability at the heart of everything it does and has now taken another step in delivering on its environmental ambitions in achieving ISO14001 certification.
WAE is becoming known as an organisation that delivers innovative products and services within the sustainability and “green tech” sectors. In realising this certification, WAE has demonstrated that this forward-thinking philosophy applies not only to products but also to the day-to-day operations at its site in Grove.
ISO14001 is an industry-leading accreditation, providing a framework for effective environmental management and is complementary to WAE’s existing ISO9001 Quality Management certification. Attainment of both standards is a positive accreditation for both customers and partners.
The push towards accreditation has been a part of wider company development programme, focused on continuous improvement within the business and investments in facilities, equipment, customer experience and above all, people.
This certification is the result of a cross-functional team effort, supported by senior management. The auditor was highly complimentary of the business approach and work that has been undertaken during the preparation of the Environmental Management System and the supporting evidence and processes WAE has established – passing with no “non-conformities”
WAE continues to embrace new technologies and leading ideas in electrification, light weighting and system integration across multiple sectors including automotive, marine, on and off-highway vehicles, aerospace, industrial design and specialist product delivery.
Looking to the future, WAE will continue to accelerate delivery of long-term sustainability goals; supporting the zero emission ambitions of our customers, partners and wider society.
